I wonder if devs even do it deliberately seeing as many complain about HDR being dark and I guess in games its a problem if you cant see. This is why, if you were watching an HDR movie, for instance, the video would look amazing, but once you close or minimize the video, other parts of Windows would look washed out. I cannot get any of them to look good in HDR. Professionally, Anup has had brief forays into a variety of fields like coding, hardware installation, writing, etc. Did anyone get the PC version of NFS Heat working with Dolby Vision on an LG C9? Is this less of an issue with OLEDs? HDR can be a game changer for sure, but way too often the implementation is just bad and in those cases HDR10 option is better left off. But enable HDR and all these areas that looked proper dark just are way too bright, washed out etc.
